Short Course Scholarship Application
To reduce barriers in global collaboration, a limited number of scholarships are available for DOHaD members in LMICs to attend our Society's short courses.
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a Standard or Trainee/ECR member who is living and working in a lower-, lower middle- or upper middle-income country, as defined by the OECD and World Bank. If you are originally from an LMIC but are living and working in a high income country, we apologize, you are not eligible for a short course scholarship.
Our short course programme continues to develop, and eligible members are welcome to apply for a scholarship on a course-by-course basis. Scholarships are only available for short courses organized and administered by the DOHaD Society. If we are organizing a short course in partnership with another institution, these scholarships may not be available — availability will be indicated on the event's registration page.
If you are awarded a scholarship and fail to attend the short course without providing prior notice, you may lose your eligibility to apply for future scholarships.
To apply for a scholarship, please fill out this form by the deadline listed on the short course's registration page. Applications are reviewed by the Society's Professional Development Subcommittee, and awardees will be notified approximately one month before the course begins.
